Roy T. Mouch
Treasurer

Roy T. Mouch is a native of West Baton Rouge. He lives in Addis, LA. He graduated from Brusly High School in 1950. He also graduated from Spencer Business College. He volunteered to go in to the Korean War May 1952 to May 1954. He completed his two years at the ranks of Sergeant (E-5). He also served six years in the reserves.

He married Katherine Prejean on December 20, 1952. They have seven children: 4 daughters and 3 sons. They have 64 grand and great grandchildren. They were married 64 years on December 20, 2016. In 1960, he ran for police juror in Ward I, West Baton Rouge. He won and served a total of 28 years until 1988.

In 1985, he became Treasurer of the Louisiana Police Jury Association and still serves in that position on the Executive Board; a total of over 30 years.

He worked in the banking business for 22 years leaving as Vice President. He started in the insurance business and opened his own business as Mouch Insurance. He was active in L&H and P&C. He retired in that business. Roy is a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church of Brusly, LA. He has served as Usher, Lector and Eucharistic Minister. He is serving as head of the Cemetery Committee taking care of records for the church mausoleum and cemetery since 1955.

He is a life member of MSGR Robin Assembly Fourth Degree for over 50 years. He served as Faithful Navigator and is presently serving as Scribe. He is a life member of the Knights of Columbus Council of 10744. He has served as Grand Knight and is presently serving as Scribe for the Council.
